La revisión abarcó bases de datos como Google Scholar, Scielo, Redalyc, ScienceDirect, Dialnet, PubMed y Scopus. Resultados: se observó que Estados Unidos registra el mayor número de investigaciones, seguido de Cuba y Reino Unido, mientras que el resto de los artículos provienen de distintos países europeos y asiáticos. En total, los 12 estudios seleccionados reflejan un interés significativo en la región por los medicamentos oncológicos, efectos adversos y el impacto en la calidad de vida de los pacientes. Conclusión: los medicamentos oncológicos más utilizados para el cáncer de páncreas fueron gemcitabina, nab-paclitaxel, minociclina, olaparib, nimotuzumab, irinotecán liposomal, leucovorina, ascorbato y fluorouracilo; los efectos adversos más comunes incluyen ansiedad, distensión abdominal, disminución del apetito, diarrea, sequedad de boca, fatiga, náuseas, dolor generalizado, dolor abdominal, problemas para saborear y trastorno del sueño; la calidad de vida se puede mejorar con ejercicio bajo supervisión, herramientas de seguimiento nutricional como el Noom y la herramienta de cuestionario QLQ- PAN26.

Specific inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, considering primary research scientific articles from countries with publication dates between 2014 and 2024, in English and Spanish. The review covered databases such as Google Scholar, Scielo, Redalyc, ScienceDirect, Dialnet, PubMed and Scopus. Results: it was observed that the United States registers the highest number of investigations, followed by Cuba and the United Kingdom, while the rest of the articles come from different European and Asian countries. In total, the 12 studies selected reflect a significant interest in the region in oncological drugs, adverse effects and the impact on patients' quality of life.
