Se aplicó un cuestionario validado para medir conocimiento y actitudes hacia la farmacovigilancia. El análisis se realizó con estadística descriptiva e inferencial, utilizando el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman. Resultados: el 48.8% presentó un nivel medio de conocimiento sobre farmacovigilancia y el 44.9% un nivel alto. En cuanto a actitudes, el 57.8% mostró indiferencia, el 41.1% actitud positiva y el 1% actitud negativa. Se halló una correlación positiva moderada (ρ=0.511, p<0.01) entre conocimiento y actitudes, indicando que un mayor conocimiento se asocia con actitudes más favorables. Conclusiones: existe una relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y las actitudes hacia la farmacovigilancia. Promover la formación continua de los farmacéuticos puede fortalecer su compromiso con la notificación de reacciones adversas, mejorando así la seguridad del paciente. |

Materials and Methods: observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, and quantitative study. A total of 287 pharmacists were selected through non-probabilistic sampling. A validated questionnaire was used to assess knowledge and attitudes towards pharmacovigilance. Data analysis included descriptive and inferential statistics, using Spearman’s correlation coefficient. Results: about 48.8% of pharmacists showed a medium level of knowledge regarding pharmacovigilance, while 44.9% had a high level. Regarding attitudes, 57.8% were indifferent, 41.1% showed a positive attitude, and only 1% showed a negative attitude. A moderate positive correlation was found (ρ = 0.511, p < 0.01) between knowledge and attitudes, indicating that greater knowledge is associated with more favorable attitudes. Conclusions: a significant relationship was identified between the level of knowledge and attitudes towards pharmacovigilance.
