Resultados: Respecto al sexo se halló que 52 participantes que representan 61,2% son del sexo masculino y 33 participantes que representan el 38,8% son del sexo femenino. 35 participantes que representan 41,2% tienen un estilo de vida algo bajo, 25 participantes que representan el 29,4% tienen estilo de vida en peligro, 15 participantes que representan el 17,6% tienen estilo de vida adecuado. Conclusiones: los estilos de vida en pacientes con con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 en el Centro Materno Infantil Manuel Barreto, San Juan de Miraflores, fueron en su mayoría algo bajo.
