description Objetivo: determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre alimentación saludable en madres de escolares en la institución educativa N° 6154 Marko Jara Schenone, Lima - 2024. Material y método: el trabajo de investigación fue realizado con un enfoque cuantitativo, el cual nos refleja la medición numérica y estimar las magnitudes del problema de investigación que se pretende analizar con métodos estadísticos, el nivel es descriptivo porque se busca recoger información en forma directa para poder detallar y tomar las decisiones, el diseño de este trabajo será no experimental el cual no se manipularon las variables en el estudio. También decimos que es corte transversal, ya que la aplicación del instrumento de medición se llevará a cabo en un solo tiempo y espacio determinado. Resultados: se observó que 55,4% madres presentan un nivel de conocimiento medio y 44,6 % madres presentan un nivel de conocimiento alto. Conclusiones: las madres tenían un nivel medio de conocimiento sobre la alimentación saludable, por lo que es recomendable reforzar este conocimiento y motivarlas a practicar acciones para mejorar la calidad de la alimentación. Esto se debe a que el conocimiento nutricional es esencial y crucial, ya que su nivel está relacionado con el comportamiento alimentario de las personas. A partir de un mayor conocimiento nutricional, podrán adoptar cambios que mejoren su calidad de vida.

Material and method: the research work was carried out with a quantitative approach, which reflects the numerical measurement and estimating the magnitudes of the research problem that is intended to be analyzed with statistical methods, the level is descriptive because it seeks to collect information directly. In order to be able to detail and make decisions, the design of this work will be non-experimental, in which the variables in the study were not manipulated. We also say that it is cross-sectional, since the application of the measuring instrument will take place in a single specific time and space. Results: it was observed that 55.4% mothers have a medium level of knowledge and 44.6% mothers have a high level of knowledge. Conclusions: the mothers had a medium level of knowledge about healthy eating, so it is advisable to reinforce this knowledge and motivate them to practice actions to improve the quality of their diet. This is because nutritional knowledge is essential and crucial, since its level is related to people's eating behavior.
