Ya que las enfermedades CV son de alta prevalencia en adultos y dados En los últimos años se han presentado un notable incremento en la proporción mayor de 65 años de la edad, de la mano con el incremento de las enfermedades cardiovasculares Y los avances médicos y tecnológicos han ocurridos en los últimos años, será cada vez más frecuentes encontrar pacientes con estos problemas médicos en la consulta dental, razón por la cual es importante que el odontólogo conozca su manejo médico y debe estar preparado para identificar los elementos de riesgo en el manejo e implementar medidas precautorias, ya que algunos fármacos de prescripción odontológica pueden interactuar con los fármacos de los tratamientos médicos, potencializar o disminuir su efecto Y por ende que conduzcan a un tratamiento bucal seguro y de calidad, este trabajo tiene como finalidad poder conocer la etiología, tipos, manifestaciones clínicas, tratamiento médico, fármacos que utilizan en pacientes con enfermedades cardiovasculares y el manejo odontológico de infecciones y tratamientos dentales |
