La población en estudio estuvo representada por los 30 pacientes adolescentes de entre 10 y 18 años, mientras que el muestreo fue censal teniendo una muestra de 30 jóvenes adolescentes, entre hombres y mujeres, pacientes del Hospital. Para medir autoestima se utilizó el Escala de autoestima de Coopersmith el cual está compuesto por 58 afirmaciones que determinan los niveles de autoestima.

LEGUIA RIMAC Hospital in 2017. The type of research was descriptive and the level applied, the method and design of research was descriptive transectional. The study population was represented by the 30 adolescent patients between 10 and 18 years old, while the sample was census taking a sample of 30 young adolescents, between men and women, patients of the Hospital.
