description El trabajo académico, Cuidados de enfermero a paciente con intoxicación por órganos fosforados, en la Seguridad Social de Salud, Hospital II, Vitarte, 2017; describe detalladamente la teoría y la verificación con la práctica hospitalarias en el abordaje de emergencias en pacientes con intoxicación por órgano fosforado, tiene como objetivo: presentar el cuadro clínico del paciente con dicha intoxicación e identificar las necesidades alteradas, corregir, mantener y rehabilitar al paciente por medio de la aplicación de conocimientos y procedimientos; con la finalidad de que el paciente se recobre en el menor tiempo posible su salud teniendo un caso de una adolescente con ingesta de órganos fosforados. Actualmente, las intoxicaciones por órganos fosforados se constituyen como un problema de salud pública donde la ingesta intencional o accidental provoca manifestaciones clínicas de efectos muscarínicos y nicotínicos, lo que puede comprometer el sistema neurológico, respiratorio, renal, etc. Además, como son sustancias que están al alcance de las personas, el cuadro de intoxicación genera un síndrome clínico característico, con síntomas colinérgicos secundarios a la estimulación de los receptores de acetilcolina
