description La fractura de la cabeza femoral es una patología muy compleja y de difícil tratamiento. En pacientes jóvenes, estas fracturas son habitualmente resultado de traumatismos de alta energía, como las colisiones automovilísticas, en pacientes adultos mayores tienen una prevalencia mayor, es decir en pacientes con una edad mayor de 60 años.
