Además, nuestro muestreo fue de tipo no probabilístico por criterios y la muestra estuvo conformada por 299 mujeres del AA. HH Los Algarrobos de edades entre los 18 a 50 años, que se encontraran en una relación de pareja. Por otra parte, para medir las variables se utilizaron dos instrumentos, la Escala de actitudes hacia el Machismo de la autora María Bustamante Gutiérrez y el Inventario de Dependencia Emocional (IDE) de Jesús Aiquipa Tello, encontrándose en los resultados la existencia de una correlación alta y significativa entre las dos variables en sus puntajes totales, al igual que una correlación significativa entre la dependencia emocional y los componentes de la actitud hacia el machismo y viceversa
