Asimismo, su objetivo principal fue determinar la relación entre el estilo de crianza autoritario y la autoestima en adolescentes de instituciones educativas del distrito de Independencia, 2024. La metodología fue de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básico de nivel descriptivocorrelacional, de diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. Respecto a la población de estudio, participaron 300 estudiantes adolescentes con edades entre 12 a 14 años, quienes fueron evaluados por los instrumentos Escala de estilos de crianza de Steinberg y la Escala de autoestima de Rosenberg. Los datos fueron procesados a través del programa Jamovi 2.3.28. El resultado mostró que las variables crianza autoritaria y autoestima se correlacionan de manera inversa y estadísticamente significativa (rho = -.797; p < 0.01). Se concluye que los adolescentes que son víctimas de la crianza autoritaria tienden a ser vulnerables a desarrollar una autoestima negativa.
