Se realizó un estudio de tipo aplicada, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño pre experimental y de alcance explicativo. La población considerada fue de 25 trabajadores y los instrumentos que se utilizaron fueron fichas de registros de accidentes, formato de check list y el análisis documentario de los accidentes laborales producidos en los años del 2022 y 2023. La muestra fue un área operativa con accidentabilidad moderada del hospital. Los resultados después de la implementación del Sistema de Gestión de Clima Laboral, disminuyó de 7% a 3% el número de accidentes de trabajo, la frecuencia de accidentes disminuyó de 6655.21 a 619.46 y la severidad de 3599.54 a 610.50, demostrando así la existencia de la relación entre el Sistema de Gestión en Seguridad y Salud en el trabajo y la accidentabilidad.
