La metodología empleada fue de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo, en el cual se aplicó una encuesta como método de recolección de datos. Se determinó dimensiones que fueron tradiciones, valores y patrimonio cultural material, por último, los resultados obtenidos fueron analizados por el cual se llega a la conclusión que los pobladores de Acobamba entre 24 a 48 años de edad cuentan con un nivel de identidad muy alto y alto según las encuestas aplicadas a 214 pobladores de esta comunidad. Sin embargo, mostraron preocupación por las nuevas generaciones debido a que resaltan la complejidad en generar el sentido de pertenencia que ellos cuentan.
