description Este estudio examina la implementación de sistemas de planificación de recursos empresariales (ERP) en la gestión de inventarios, destacando su importancia en el panorama empresarial contemporáneo. A través de un análisis exhaustivo de varios estudios de investigación, se identifican los factores clave que afectan la efectividad de estos sistemas. El sistema ERP surge como una solución integral que facilita la gestión eficiente de inventarios, brindando a los empresarios mayores capacidades para controlar y optimizar sus recursos. El estudio subraya la importancia de integrar tecnologías avanzadas, capacitar al personal y asegurar el apoyo de la alta dirección para la implementación exitosa de estos sistemas. Una revisión detallada de los factores y desafíos encontrados en la literatura existente consolida el conocimiento actual sobre la eficacia de ERP en la optimización de procesos logísticos y operativos. La investigación revela que, a pesar de desafíos como la necesidad de personal capacitado, la integración con otros sistemas y entre otros, ERP sigue siendo una herramienta indispensable para mejorar la gestión de inventario en diversas industrias.
