El diseño de investigación es predictivo – transversal, no experimental; se aplicaron los instrumentos, Inventario de los cinco grandes factores de personalidad (BFI), Escala de actitudes hacia el machismo y la Escala de acoso sexual e interacción social de contenido sexual en el ámbito universitario (EASIS-U), los cuales se virtualizaron a través de “google forms”. Los resultados indican que todos los índices de significancia, potencia estadística y tamaño del efecto son adecuados; por tanto, en las mujeres, el neuroticismo y las actitudes machistas frente a la superioridad masculina, explican el 12.5% del chantaje sexual. Y respecto a los hombres, la extraversión, las actitudes machistas hacia la dirección del hogar y socialización del rol sexual, explican el 13.5% del acoso sexual de componente verbal.
