Además, la investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo y de tipo aplicada. Así mismo, se usa como técnica de recolección de datos, la encuesta, la cual se aplicaría a 384 personas; según la fórmula de población infinita. Sin embargo, al ver que es una población muy grande se decidió no limitar el número de la muestra, por lo cual al final se encuestó a 649 seguidores. Por parte de los resultados, se puede conocer que los seguidores tienen un nivel muy alto de evaluación en cuanto a las características de la influencer. Pero también se pudo identificar que hay una diferencia significativa entre las características observables e inferidas de la influencer Maca Bustamante, poniendo énfasis en las características inferidas, por obtener un nivel de evaluación más alto a diferencia de las características observables.
