La investigación tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básica correlacional y una muestra de 206 habitantes, para recoger la información de estudio se utilizó la encuesta a través de un cuestionario, las pruebas estadísticas utilizadas fue Spearman, demostrando una asociación significativa muy fuerte con un P-valor de 0,010 y un Rho de 0,835, esto significa una relación fuerte entre la gestión ambiental y la satisfacción de los ciudadanos, lo que permite aceptar la hipótesis general. Se concluye que mientras mejor sea el trabajo en gestión ambiental bajo la forma sistémica, relacionada con lo socioambiental y cultural, aumentará el nivel de satisfacción del ciudadano, obteniendo un ciudadano informado que participa y tiene una mejor percepción de la gestión ambiental que realiza la Municipalidad Distrital de Castilla en el caserío de Miraflores.
