La investigación es de tipo básico, enfoque cualitativo diseño etnográfico y nivel descriptivo-exploratorio. Como instrumento se realizó un guion de entrevista dirigido a diferentes usuarios que viven principalmente en las avenidas aledañas a la Huaca Aznapuquio. Teniendo como resultado, la importancia de reconocer que la arquitectura de la Huaca Aznapuquio es única, puede carecer de la perspectiva histórica necesaria para apreciar estos aspectos y centrarse en la apariencia actual del sitio. La importancia de promover experiencias educativas y visitas guiadas desde temprana edad, resaltando la arquitectura, historia y valor cultural. En las conclusiones se sintetiza que el patrimonio monumental Huaca Aznapuquio no ha tenido un impacto significativo en la identidad de los pobladores debido a la falta de conocimiento sobre su historia. La promoción del cuidado y la divulgación de la importancia del patrimonio podrían generar mayor participación y apoyo de la comunidad. Además, una adecuada conservación de la Huaca Aznapuquio sería fundamental para reducir la inseguridad asociada al abandono y fortalecer el sentido de pertenencia de los residentes.
