description La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar la remoción de DQO y SST en un reactor UASB para la mejora en el tratamiento de aguas residuales de curtiembre. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos en la presente investigación los parámetros de control determinados en el reactor UASB estuvieron conformado por el pH, la temperatura, TRH, concentración de AGV y alcalinidad, siendo estos los parámetros que mejorarían el tratamiento de aguas residuales de curtiembre. Así mismo, se abarco el porcentaje de remoción del DQO y SST los cuales presentaron una buena eficiencia para el tratamiento de aguas residuales de curtiembre encontrándose en un rango de 70 a 80%. Por otra parte, es recomendable investigar y profundizar más sobre los rectores UASB y sus de costos de operación.
