La población y muestra estuvo constituida por 96 trabajadores y la técnica utilizada la encuesta, como también se utilizó el instrumento el cuestionario medido en una escala de Likert, validado por el juicio de 3 expertos de MBA. Los resultados obtenidos al establecer si la herramienta del benchmarking es adecuada, donde el 50% de trabajadores encuestados tiene un nivel intermedio y el 50% restante un nivel adecuado del uso de la herramienta, así mismo se observó los resultados al analizar y controlar el mejoramiento con el benchmarking donde del total de trabajadores, el 62% están con un nivel adecuado en las ventas y solo el 38% están en un nivel intermedio respecto a las ventas, además se determinó que el Benchmarking tiene relación con las ventas del centro de Inspección Técnica vehicular obteniendo este resultado al emplear el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson 0.751. Concluyendo que el Benchmarking tiene efectos favorables en las Ventas del Centro de Inspección Técnica Vehicular.
