description La presente investigación tiene el propósito de determinar la relación entre la Gestión del talento humano y el Desempeño laboral del personal en la Dirección de Planeamiento Institucional PNP, San Isidro, 2020. Estuvo regulada por el enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental correlacional transversal, método hipotético-deductivo. La población censal fue de 77 empleados, con instrumentos validados por expertos, con una fiabilidad en la variable Gestión del talento humano de 0.957 y para la variable desempeño laboral de 0.953. Los resultados indicaron la existencia de una correlación media entre las variables, con un Rho de Spearman de 0.287 y una significación bilateral de 0.011.
