description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre motivación académica y procrastinación en estudiantes de confección textil del centro educativo productivo del Cercado de Lima 2022. El tipo de investigación fue básica, se enfocó bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, transversal y de nivel correlacional, con una población de 172 estudiantes y conformada por una muestra de 120 educandos de confección textil de centro Educativo Productivo Cercado Lima. Los resultados obtenidos arrojan un (rho = -,591; ρ < 0.05) que indica una magnitud moderada en la relación y de tendencia negativa entre las variables, evidenciando relación significativa y, por lo tanto, se rechaza la hipótesis nula y se acepta la relación entre motivación académica y procrastinación. Concluyendo que, a una adecuada motivación académica, menor será la tendencia a procrastinar en los estudiantes
