En este sentido este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar los aportes más significativos de artículos de revisión de la literatura en los últimos cinco años para la identidad urbana en áreas de valor histórico, además, la investigación se basa en un tipo de enfoque narrativo que proporciona una comprensión integral de la identidad urbana en áreas de valor histórico.
