Su estudio fue aplicado y su diseño no experimental descriptivo, transversal y correlacional. La población fue de 85 docentes, la muestra fue no probabilístico, conformado por 70 docentes. Se utilizó la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario de escala Likert; validado por el juicio de expertos, y su confiabilidad se obtuvo con el coeficiente de Alfa de Cronbach. Los resultados demuestran que el total de las personas encuestadas, cualquiera sea el nivel de la gestión educativa, el 8,6% afirmaron que el desempeño docente es muy deficiente, 27,1% deficiente, 62,9% eficiente y 1,4% muy eficiente. El análisis inferencial de la hipótesis indica que el coeficiente Rho de Spearman fue 0,548, de sig. 0,01 determinándose que existe correlación positiva moderada entre ambas variables. Su p-valué de 0,00 (0,000<0,05), indica que se acepta la hipótesis alternativa. Se concluye que existe una relación entre la gestión educativa y el desempeño docente en la institución educativa Manuel Seoane Corrales, distrito Mi Perú 2021.
