La metodología fue de diseño correlacional donde la muestra de estudio fue de 70 pacientes de los cuales se recopilo información de los cuestionaros planteados. Como resultados se evidencia que el 18,6% de pacientes refiere ansiedad leve, el 30,0% refiere una ansiedad moderada y el 51,4% ansiedad severa. En la adherencia al tratamiento encontramos el 75.7% de adherencia parcial, el 14.3% adherencia total y un 10% de no adheridos. Finalmente se concluye según la relación de Spearman se tiene un coeficiente de 0.129 una relación positiva baja entra la ansiedad dental y la adherencia al tratamiento.
