Se toma la variable independiente: Plan de seguridad y salud ocupacional, y la variable dependiente: accidentes e incidentes de trabajo. Así, el presente estudio consideró un enfoque cuantitativo de investigación, diseño cuasi experimental y nivel explicativo; los instrumentos abordados para medir la variable dependiente de accidentes e incidentes fueron las fórmulas validadas por juicio de expertos relacionadas con el índice de frecuencia de incidentes y los índices de frecuencia y gravedad de accidentes, cuyos resultados se presentan en tablas y figuras. La principal conclusión es que: La implementación de un Plan de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional reduce los accidentes e incidentes de trabajo en la Municipalidad Distrital de Acopampa, 2019.
