Se aplicó una muestra censal de 280 individuos encuestados en zonas rurales y urbano-marginales de Santa Elena, Ecuador. El cuestionario validado de 20 ítems fue analizado estadísticamente con SPSS v25, incluyendo pruebas t, Rho de Spearman y normalidad. Los resultados evidenciaron correlaciones significativas entre la percepción de participación y el reconocimiento institucional, con valoraciones más bajas en dimensiones como empleo e innovación.
