La población estuvo conformada por 200 trabajadores administrativos de la municipalidad Provincial del Santa y la muestra fue de 132 colaboradores. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento se aplicó tres cuestionarios para medir las variables de estudio, los datos obtenidos fueron analizados mediante el software Spss versión 24. Entre sus resultados, se determinó que, la gestión municipal es percibido en un nivel medio por el 78,8% de los colaboradores, a la vez el desempeño laboral también se percibe con un nivel medio por el 75% de los colaboradores y en lo que respecta a la satisfacción del capital humano se encontró un nivel mediocon un 67,4%. Concluyendo, que la gestión municipal si influye en el desempeño laboral (R2= 0,684 y Anova = 0,000) y en la satisfacción del capital humano (R2= 0,569 y Anova = 0,000).
