description El presente estudio tuvo como finalidad determinar la correlación de la Inteligencia Emocional y Resiliencia en adolescentes del tercer grado de secundaria de una institución educativa pública de Ayacucho, esta investigación fue de nivel descriptivo correlacional , tipo no experimental, y de diseño descriptivo y de corte transversal, la población estuvo compuesta por 80 estudiantes adolescentes de ambos sexos con edades de 14 a 15 años, los instrumentos utilizados, fueron el Inventario de Inteligencia Emocional de BarOn ICE- NA y la Escala de resiliencia (ER) Wagnild y Young, los resultados indican que no existe correlación significativa entre las variables (rho=.051 ; p=>,05) así mismo, se determinó que hay un nivel de capacidad emocional y social atípica deficiente con un % 42,5 % y un nivel muy bajo de resiliencia con un %57,5.
