El objetivo del estudio fue describir la importancia de la santa cruz para los cristianos. La cruz representa la muerte expiatoria de la pena que nuestro señor Jesucristo sufrió en nuestro lugar en sustitución de nuestros pecados. Para el desarrollo del trabajo se ha seguido una metodología de tipo básica, de enfoque cualitativa, de nivel descriptiva. La información de extrajo de las diferentes fuentes como artículos, libros y casos. En conclusión, la cruz significa el sacrificio supremo de Jesucristo por la humanidad, se refiere al acto de amor y entrega total de Jesús al dar su vida en la cruz para redimir y rescatar a la humanidad del pecado y establecer la conexión con Dios.
