Los datos para esta investigación retrospectiva se obtuvieron de 250 fichas clínicas tomadas al azar (en base a los requisitos de inclusión y exclusión considerados) del Centro de Salud de San Juan Bautista y del Hospital Regional de Loreto "Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias" junto con entrevistas realizadas a las personas que aceptaron participar. Los datos fueron analizados mediante pruebas estadísticas paramétricas y no paramétricas estándares. Los resultados muestran que la seroprevalencia total a nivel de los grupos etáreos fluctuó de 44,44% (adolescentes) a 69,57% (adultos mayores). Asimismo, a nivel de sexos la seroprevalencia total fue 50,00% y 58,93% en mujeres y hombres, respectivamente. No se encontraron diferencias estadísticas significativas en las seroprevalencias tanto a nivel de los grupos etáreos como a nivel de los sexos evaluados. En conclusión, la seroprevalencia del Covid-19 en los trabajadores de construcción civil del Distrito de San Juan Bautista en el año 2020 fue elevada y no dependió de la edad o el sexo de los trabajadores.

One of the most affected sectors is civil construction, although the magnitude of the negative effects of the pandemic in this sector is unknown. In order to understand this problem, this research was conducted with the general objective of determining the prevalence of Covid-19 in civil construction workers in the District of San Juan Bautista in the year 2020. The data for this retrospective investigation were obtained from 250 clinical records taken at random (based on the inclusion and exclusion requirements considered) from the San Juan Bautista Health Center and the Loreto Regional Hospital "Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias" along with interviews conducted with those who agreed to participate. The data were analyzed using standarsized parametric and nonparametric statistical tests. Results show that the total seroprevalence at the level of age groups ranged from 44.44% (adolescents) to 69.57% (older adults). Likewise, at the sex level, the total seroprevalence was 50.00% and 58.93% in women and men, respectively. No significant statistical differences were found in the seroprevalences both at the level of the age groups and at the level of the sexes evaluated.
