La metodología utilizada fue de tipo cuantitativa, descriptiva, no experimental y horizontal; toda vez que se realizó un análisis a lo largo del todo el año 2019 y lo que va del 2020. La población estuvo conformada por el parque fluvial de Loreto, habiéndose seleccionado como muestra, el Puerto de Iquitos. Los resultados indican que en el parque fluvial de Iquitos se tiene una buena capacidad instalada de embarcaciones y astilleros, 895 embarcaciones y 16 astilleros respectivamente; que garantizan la operatividad comercial de carga y de pasajeros nacional e internacional, en el puerto de Iquitos.

The specific objectives are related to describe the strategic behavior of the river park of the port of Iquitos, year 2019, the commercial demand for cargo from the port and the routes that supplied cargo and passengers. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental and horizontal; since an analysis was carried out throughout 2019 and so far in 2020.
