Descripción
Sumario:The present investigation realizes an evaluation of the so lid residues management in the fluvial crafts that realize route between the cities of Yurimaguas - !quitos. The above mentioned evaluation is composed of two stages: The first one, which realizes a situational diagnosis of the same one, inside which the aspects were evaluated: opera ti ve, administrative officers and social - educational aspects; in order to detennine the quality and type of service of cleanliness and the degree of environmental knowledge 1 culture of the passengers; as a result of the same is obtained that in regard to the operational and administrative aspect are suitable, counting with a single critica! point to solve the central storage of waste during the route, it is clear that the envirorunental culture of passengers is good, still a mínimum percentage (14.3 %) that ha ve not become aware of the impact of the so lid waste in the environment. The second, perfonned a characterization study of the so lid residue from the boats, which evaluated the basic parameters ofthe same (production, composition, density, moisture percentage and ash); of which there is obtained that the Generation Per capita of solid residues for passenger and trip is 0.773 Kg/Psj/viaje; with an average density of 118.917 Kg/m3; composed mainly by 56.89% of kitchen residues, 21,82 % of plastic 9.14% of paper and carton, 8.58% oftoxins and infectious, a 1.58% offabric, a 1.42% oftins and 0.57 % of glass; having a percentage of dampness and of ashes of 32 % and 13.62 % respectively. Which gets that per capita generation of so lid waste per passenger and trip is 0,773 Kg/JSP/trip; with an average density of 118,917 kg/m3; composed mostly by a 56.89% ofkitchen waste, a 21.82% ofplastics a 9.14% paper and cardboard, a 8.58% oftoxic and infectious, a 1.58% of cloth, a 1.42% of cans anda 0.57 per cent of glass; having a moisture and ash percentage content of32% and 13.62% respectively. The evaluation of the so lid waste management allowed us to identizy deficiencies in the management and generate alternative solutions to improve it and thus improve the service of river transport of passengers; these deficiencies with their respective alternatives of solution are duly detailed in the administrative and operational aspects incorporated in the results obtained in this research.
