description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la prevalencia del Síndrome de Burnout en internos de la Escuela Profesional de Tecnología Médica Huancayo 2024. La investigación fue de tipo básica, descriptiva y de diseño no experimental. El tamaño de la muestra fue de 217 internos de la Escuela Profesional de Tecnología Médica. El instrumento empleado fue el Cuestionario de Maslach Inventory. Los resultados obtenidos evidenciaron una prevalencia de niveles altos de Burnout en 72 internos los cuales representan el 33,2 %, nivel medio de 60 internos con un porcentaje del 27,6 % y nivel bajo con 85 internos representando el 39,2 % de la muestra en general. En la dimensión agotamiento emocional se identificaron niveles altos en el 27,6% de internos, la dimensión despersonalización en 28,1 % niveles altos y por último la dimensión baja realización personal con un porcentaje del 18,9 % de los internos. Se llegó a la conclusión de que existe una alta prevalencia de Burnout en los internos, siendo las dimensiones agotamiento emocional y despersonalización las más habituales.
