description La investigación tiene como principal objetivo el determinar la relación entre el síndrome de Burnout y rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de hematología de la Universidad Continental de Huancayo, periodo 2021. Para poder cumplir con este propósito, se procedió a realizar una investigación de corte transversal y con un tipo aplicada, así como un alcance correlacional. En este sentido, se utilizó de una muestra de 65 estudiantes que cursaron las cátedras de Hematología 1 y Hematología especial en dicha Universidad, se aplicó el instrumento Escala de Síndrome de Burnout de 22 itemes. Los principales resultados obtenidos denotan que existe evidencia del síndrome de Burnout, es decir tener en consideración el estrés algunas veces al mes (87%), del mismo modo, se ha podido encontrar que hay correlación negativa entre estas dos variables en cuanto el coeficiente de correlación Rho Spearman asociado es de -0.80, siendo significativo al 5%. Esto implica que el estrés generado por la no presencialidad de las clases ha afectado académicamente a los estudiantes encuestados.
