La población viene a ser todos los cruceros de la Minera Aurífera Retamas S. A., seleccionando como muestra el Crucero 10236 – S del Nv. 2920, Minera Aurífera Retamas S.A. Para recopilación de datos , se realizó en campo in situ , mediante la técnica observacional y procesamiento de datos actuales de la perforación y voladura, representado por el Crucero 10236 – S del Nv. 2920, Minera Aurífera Retamas S.A. Al cambiar a barras cónicas de 8 pies, el avance promedio por disparo mejoró a 2 metros, con una eficiencia del 90 % y 53.88 toneladas desbrozadas. La sobre rotura se redujo a 3 % en los hastiales y 4 % en la corona, logrando una sección más cercana a la planificada de 3.0 x 3.0 metros y reduciendo el costo a 485.92 dólares por metro lineal, lo que generó un ahorro de 195.77 dólares por metro. Estos cambios destacaron la importancia de un diseño técnico adecuado y la selección correcta de herramientas y explosivos, logrando una operación minera más eficiente y rentable.
