Las técnicas para la recolección de datos fueron la observación y la entrevista para las variables y los instrumentos son la lista de chequeo y la entrevista para las variables. La conclusión principal de esta tesis fue el incremento de la disponibilidad de los equipos médicos en el área de emergencia del Centro de Salud CLAS San Jerónimo obteniéndose un alto porcentaje de los equipos intervenidos como valor promedio 95.710% en los equipos de alta prioridad, garantizando así el mayor tiempo de operatividad de cada uno de ellos, la confiabilidad de los diagnósticos y la mejora en la calidad de atención a la población.

The following methodology was used, the type of research is applied, and the level of research is descriptive and purposeful. In the research, the emergency area of the CLAS San Jeronimo Health Center was taken as the study unit. The techniques for data collection were observation and the interview for the variables and the instruments are the checklist and the interview for the variables.
