description RESUMEN El presente trabajo de Investigación titulado “FORMANDO VALORES A TRAVÉS DE LOS CUENTOS INFANTILES EN NIÑOS DEL NIVEL INICIAL” tiene como objetivo general identificar los cuentos infantiles que desarrollan la formación de valores en los niños y niñas del nivel inicial. Es una investigación descriptiva simple del tipo bibliográfico. Mediante la revisión de la literatura se ha podido corroborar que existe diversidad de cuentos infantiles que desarrollan valores morales, los valores afectivos y los valores ecológicos. En este sentido se concluye que los cuentos infantiles que desarrollan valores morales son muy importantes porque permiten al niño (a) crecer con más seguridad y confianza en sí mismo, los afectivos estimulan el amor al prójimo y sí mismo y los ecológicos fomentan el amor al planeta y su cuidado. Palabras claves: Valores, cuentos, niños y nivel inicial.
