description La finalidad de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación entre la variable actitudes lingüísticas hacia el idioma castellano y producción de textos escritos en estudiantes ingresantes de la Facultad de Humanidades, UNFV-2023. Respecto al método empleado, el enfoque fue cuantitativo de tipo básica, con nivel descriptivo correlacional y diseño no experimental. Como instrumento para la recolección de datos, se recurrió al cuestionario, el cual fue aplicado a 134 ingresantes de la Facultad de Humanidades de la universidad mencionada. Como resultado, el coeficiente de Rho de Spearman fue de 0.635, lo que refleja una magnitud positiva y nivel moderado. También fue significativo, puesto que el p valor fue menor que el grado de significancia estadística (p = 0.000 < 0.05). Se concluye que existe relación positiva y significativa entre las actitudes lingüísticas hacia el castellano y la producción de textos escritos en los ingresantes de la Facultad de Humanidades de la universidad mencionada.
