description Después de esta pandemia, muchas personas quedarán muy frustradas, especialmente las que perdieron posiciones sociales, al pasar de la clase media a una situación de pobreza o por la pérdida de sus seres queridos ante la inoperancia del sistema sanitario y de salud, entre otros. ¿Cómo se comportará la humanidad después de la pesadilla de la COVID-19? ¿Sentiremos que vivimos en una comunidad local, regional y global realmente solidaria? A modo de necesaria catarsis, esperaría la génesis de un serio debate regional y mundial anclado fundamentalmente en los valores morales y en cómo repensar la gobernanza global y doméstica de nuestros países (relación Estado, mercado y medios). Estimo que en el campo de la educación deberá existir más espacio para las humanidades, sin desmerecer la relevancia de las asignaturas STEM (ciencias, tecnología, ingeniería y matemática).
