Sumario:The present work exposed the commercial, technical, economic and social viability of installing an industrial manufacture of a PVC boot plant with rubber sole obtained from used tires over 9 chapter using quantitative and qualitative data as sustenance of the viability in the period 2021-2025. Chapter I provides general aspects of the investigation. The general and specific objectives are presented as guidelines for the development of the research. In addition, the technical, economic and social justification, the tentative hypothesis, the referential framework and the conceptual framework are presented as support for technical concepts. In chapter II, a market study is carried out to identify the target market of the research. In addition, more detail of the main characteristic of the product is provided. The demand for the project is estimated at 671 722 pairs of PVC boots for the last projected year. In Chapter III the optimal and appropriate location is determined for the installation of the manufacture of the product in question. To do this, macro and microeconomic factors are analyzed using the factor ranking method to prioritize them. In chapter IV the calculation of the plant size will be developed taking into account the data obtained from the market demand, the technology available for the production process and the equilibrium point. In Chapter V the engineering detail of the project will be developed. The machines involved in the production of the boots will be analyzed. Also, the calculation of the capacity of the plant will be obtained with the data of the quantity of machines and labor required. Chapter VI will identify the organizational structure of the company identifying the responsibilities of the different jobs involved. Chapter VII will determine the form of financing and the expected economic return. Likewise, the calculation of economic and financial indicators will be carried out to verify the economic viability of this work. Finally, in chapter VIII the social impact of the project will be developed. A series of indicators will be developed to evaluate the contribution of this work with its various stakeholders.
