The present research work is a pre-feasibility study where the technical, economic and financial feasibility for the installation of a plant that produces eco-friendly paints based on cactus slime will be evaluated, which has as a target market zones 6, 7 and 8 of the socioeconomic level A and B of metropolitan Lima. In the first chapter, the objectives of the study, the justifications, the scope and the hypothesis of the research were mentioned. In addition, a referential framework was presented that emphasizes the investigations that were used as support for the research work. Regarding the second chapter, the determination of the market study for the product was shown in detail. In the third chapter, the plant location analysis was carried out considering macro-location and micro-location factors. Based on these factors and using the ranking of factors as a method, it was determined that the plant will be located in the department of Lima, district of San Juan de Lurigancho. In the fourth chapter, the evaluation of the different plant size relationships was carried out, in order to determine the optimal size for the project. In the fifth chapter, the points related to project engineering were detailed, which are: the technical specifications of the product, selection of machinery and technology, description of the process, determination of the installed capacity of the project, requirement of inputs, services and personnel, the production schedule and plant layout. Regarding chapter six, everything related to the organizational and administrative part of the company was developed. In chapter seven, the operating and financial budgets were made, the total investment was estimated, and the economic and financial evaluation was analyzed in order to determine the profitability of the project from the main indicators which are: NPV, IRR, B / CY PR. Finally, the social evaluation was developed in order to determine the level of impact of the project on society, considering the main social indicators.
