Sumario:Emotional intelligence is a capacity that is negatively related to bullying in all its dimensions. Likewise, due to technological development in recent years, new forms of interaction have arisen in which adolescents have greater participation when making use of new technologies. With this, cyberbullying emerges as a problem that has a negative and greater impact than traditional bullying. The objective of this review is to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence and cyberbullying in the reviewed scientific articles that addressed the relationship between both variables in the adolescent population. A systematic search was carried out following the indications of the PRISMA guide (Urrútia and Bonfill, 2013). The databases consulted were ProQuest, Scopus and EBSCO. For the analysis, the studies that evaluated emotional intelligence and cyberbullying (n = 7) were selected. In general, the relationships found are discussed in terms of the theoretical approach that addresses the variables, the tests used to measure them, the evaluation of the dimensions of both constructs and the methodological limitations evidenced.
