| Sumario: | The following paper outlines an analysis of Nietzschean aesthetics with the purpose of strengthening its pertinence for a contemporary perspective, based on the premise that the untimely and reactive nature of art turns it into a powerful resource in the face of a landscape whose value system is unfavorable and incongruent. Thus, Nietzsche’s notions of art and Dionysian artist offer a direct solution to the large-scale hostility caused by the many deficiencies of 21st-century burnout society, as understood by Byung-Chul Han. |
