Authorization for the activities of exploitation and processing non-metallic resources and ornamental rocks is regulated by Supreme Decree No. 014-92-EM, except for mining concessions located in urban and urban expansion areas, that are regulated by Law No. 27015. For Territorial Planning in Peru, a “National Urban Cadastre” is required, integrating the information of more than 1,800 municipalities with other sectors.La “Construcción Sostenible” requiere del trabajo conjunto de los actores que administran recursos naturales requeridos para los proyectos de infraestructura rural, urbana, vías de comunicación, canales de riego, represas, entre otros. La autorización para las actividades de explotación y beneficio de recursos no metálicos y rocas ornamentales está regulada por el D.S. N° 014-92-EM, con excepción de las concesiones mineras ubicadas en áreas urbanas y de expansión urbana que se regulan por la Ley N° 27015.
