Este estudio presenta un análisis completo a partir de cinco pilares: Economía, Gobierno, Infraestructura Empresas y Personas. El índice de Competitividad Regional del Perú (ICRP) 2021 es considerada como un instrumento potente para la toma de decisiones a nivel gerencial (sector privado) y por parte de las autoridades locales y regionales (sector público) debido a que permite medir el nivel de competitividad de las 26 regiones del Perú. En los resultados de esta investigación, además, se encuentra que existen grandes brechas económicas que necesitan ser cerradas mediante la implementación de mejores estrategias de largo plazo. Este análisis sirve a las entidades pública y privada para priorizar la inversión de cada región poniendo énfasis en el aumento de su competitividad.
