La causa principal de este resultado se encuentra en el entorno cambiante originado por la alta rivalidad competitiva, lo cual exige revisar las estrategias actuales del negocio. Para ello, en la presente nota se realiza la evaluación de los factores internos y externos mediante el uso de matrices estratégicas complementado con la utilización de las herramientas de Porter. Posteriormente, se analizan y seleccionan las estrategias relevantes a través del uso de las matrices estratégicas BCG y GE-McKinsey. Finalmente, se presentan las conclusiones y recomendaciones.

In 2016, it registered for the first time, negative growth in revenues compared to the previous year. This downward trend in revenues is maintained until 2018. The main cause of this result is in the changing environment caused by the high competitive rivalry, which requires reviewing current business strategies. To do this, we carry out the external and internal audit with strategic matrices complemented with the use of Porter’s tools. Subsequently, we analyze and select the relevant strategies using BCG and GE-McKinsey strategic matrices.
