The project seeks to demonstrate the hybridization of Huancayo crafts and how it resembles the clothing of the Huancayo descendant. The designer investigates the historical line of the Chipped Mate, from its origin in northern Peru and how it advances to the center of Peru with today and its variations to the present. The methodology used is Research - Creation, which goes hand in hand with writing and the log where different materialities and experimentations with materiality will be placed for future finishes. The collection is divided into two lines, the first is about crafts in different stages of Peruvian history with all its clear variations, morphologies and typologies in each one. Here the author adds the materiality of matte in some garments as well as in the decoration technique. This will be used as in crafts but will also vary with the industrial instrument in order to resemble modernization in each era. For the second line, part of the experience of the designer who is from a family in the center, Molinos - Junín, to apply all his knowledge of the clothing in the folklore of that locality and the western garments that he consumes. Thus, result in a hybridization in their clothing and offer it to the descendants of Huancayo and provide them with an identity in all this globalization that tends to homogenize.
