description A partir de la pandemia, las universidades de Latinoamérica tuvieron qué enfrentar el cese de clases presenciales y la adaptación al nuevo sistema de educación virtual, el cuál involucró un cambio en su gestión administrativa, así como la intervención inmediata en sus docentes y estudiantes. Esta adaptación se ha visto influenciada por diversos factores que han impactado en sus estudiantes, docentes y los propios colaboradores de las instituciones; considerando a su vez los retos que la nueva modalidad iba a generar. Por ello, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar los factores que intervienen en la adaptación universitaria en el contexto de educación virtual en sus tres niveles: institucional, docente y estudiantil, así como describir los conceptos y teorías relacionadas a la adaptación universitaria. Esto se realizó a través de la búsqueda de investigaciones acerca de la adaptación universitaria en el contexto de pandemia, los cuales fueron analizados y contrastados entre sí. En conclusión, se encontraron diversas investigaciones que señalan: la importancia del liderazgo por parte de los directivos para afrontar los cambios, la capacitación de los docentes en temas de habilidades digitales, así como el manejo de herramientas tecnológicas, la importancia del apoyo que se debe brindar a los estudiantes a nivel emocional y académico, entre otros.

This adaptation has been influenced by various factors that have impacted on its students, teachers and the institutions' own collaborators; considering in turn the challenges that the new modality was going to generate. Therefore, the present study aims to analyze the factors that intervene in university adaptation in the context of virtual education in its three levels: institutional, teaching and student, as well as to describe the concepts and theories related to university adaptation. For this, a search was carried out for research on university adaptation in the context of a pandemic, which were analyzed and contrasted with each other.
