Objective: Determine the average age of cheiloplasty in children from the “Creciendo” program from the Teaching Dental Center of Cayetano Heredia University between 2015 and 2019. Materials and Methods: This was a transversal, observational, descriptive, and retrospective study. The “Creciendo” program database (109 records) was obtained and utilized after all due permissions were conceded. The variables were cleft lip and palate diagnosis, age of cheiloplasty, sex and place of origin. Results: The age range in which most cheiloplasty interventions took place was 181-210 days old (6-7 months); the most prevalent diagnosis was Left Unilateral Transforamen Cleft, being 33.03% (n=36), of which 86.11% (n=31) were complete; male patients represented 67.89% (n=74) of the total population; the average age of intervention was 196.14 days old (6.43 months), being 92 days (3.02 months) the minimum age and 593 days (19.44 months) the maximum age; on the first two years of the program 19 procedures were done with an average patient age of 235 days old, and in the last two years there were 35 procedures with an average age of 209 days old; regarding place of origin, 74.31% (n=81) came from Lima department, of which 88.89% (n=72) came from Lima province and the highest prevalence was mapped to the North area of Lima. Conclusion: The average age of cheiloplasty was between 6-7 months old.
