La relación entre las actividades preventivas y la pobreza de cada región son pocas y por consiguiente de suma importancia conocer el alcance de esto para brindar una adecuada estrategia preventiva a nivel nacional. Objetivo: Obtener la asociación de la producción de acciones odontológicas preventivas en el Perú de acuerdo con el sexo, etapa de vida, procedimiento odontológico preventivo y nivel de pobreza regional según el MINSA en el 2024. Materiales y métodos: El estudio será retrospectivo y transversal. La población y muestra estarán constituidas por los registros del Ministerio de Salud (MINSA) de atenciones odontológicas preventivas en Perú en el año 2024. Las variables serán: Región de atención, sexo, etapa de vida, procedimiento odontológico preventivo y quintil de pobreza. Se usará la prueba de Chi-cuadrado al 95% IC. Conclusiones: Este estudio resalta la importancia de las acciones odontológicas preventivas en el Perú para mejorar la calidad de vida de la población y evitar el desarrollo de enfermedades bucales.

The relationship between preventive activities and the level of poverty in each region is limited and, therefore, it is of great importance to understand its scope in order to provide an adequate national preventive strategy. Objective: To determine the association between the production of preventive dental actions in Peru according to sex, life stage, type of preventive dental procedure, and regional poverty level, as reported by the Ministry of Health (MINSA) in 2024. Materials and Methods: This will be a retrospective and cross-sectional study. The population and sample will consist of records from the Ministry of Health (MINSA) regarding preventive dental care provided in Peru during 2024. The variables will include: region of care, sex, life stage, type of preventive dental procedure, and poverty quintile. The Chi-square test will be used with a 95% confidence interval.
